Tips created by the participants of the November 28-29 training in Bayombong and the December 1-2 training in Cebu

 

Introductions

 

 

1. Put PICTURES.

2. Moderate the length.

 

3. The content should be rich / substantial. It should include information about geography, the school, students, their interests and others. The language should be intelligible, meaning, it is understood by all classes

 

Questions

  1. It is vital that questions should be SMART- short/specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound.

  2. It should be suited to the demographical profile( age, interest, language, economy, geography) of the learner/participating class.

  3. Question structure should not prescribe nor presume.

3. It should be base on actual facts in a locality

4. It can be represented by pictures

5. Avoid using words that implies negative meaning to other readers

6. It should be direct to the point

 

Summaries

A general format for reviewing the responses might be to address the following questions:

  • Why did we ask the qestion?
  • What did we know about the theme when we started?
  • What did we learn in our classroom?
  • What did we expect to learn?
  • What did we learn from the responses of the students?
  • What was similar or different in the research answers received from the Learning Circle partners?
    Why do we think these differences exist?
